HOLY ROSARY’S FIRST GROUP OF MATRICULANTS

2022 marks Holy Rosary School Malamulele’s debut as an FET institute. After introducing and re-introducing grades 10 and 11, the school only welcomed its first grade 12 class in January this year.

The group is comprised of twenty learners. Four of these learners claimed four spots in the Vhembe east Top 200 for grade 11 2021. By doing this, they are already setting a very good precedence for the lower grades in the FET phase.

Matric is a highly demanding grade and all students will get overwhelmed at some point. Our group, like any other, is experiencing the pressure, but has managed to display incredible maturity and grace under pressure. They have proven themselves to be a well-disciplined, self-motivated and hardworking group of students.

Matriculants are very busy students, and because of this, it is very common for them to be isolated from the rest of the school. Our group still manages to interact with other learners by giving short speeches at assembly and participating in various activities at school.

As the school anxiously awaits its first ever matric results, everyone is showing their support for the grade 12 students.
